So in 2014, Dr. Peavey made a commitment to really make Tallulah Falls School a more secure campus. 24/7 security, to include post certified police officers, who worked for the federal government, local government, county governments. The great thing about my security officers, though, they love being with the students. They'll interact with the students. They'll walk around with the students. The students know who they are, they know them by name.
The security on campus is pretty, pretty good. There's always like security guys around. They're also nice.
They just will interact with anyone. They walk in the Dining Hall sometimes-- They just say, "How you doing? How's your day?"
We now have a front security gate, where we have a guard house with a guard on duty.
Every student is given a key card, so like everywhere you go that's like access points.
You gotta have a card to get into buildings and doors are locked 24/7. And at all times, I know who's in that building by looking at my computer programs.
We also have over 100 cameras on campus, and every building multiple cameras. We also have the magnus help app. If a student, let's say, is going to be sick that day, a parent could fill that out, and it goes straight to a front desk, and they know what's wrong with that student. We also have two own site nurses, one at the middle school, one at the upper school.
If any student here at Tallulah Falls is not feeling well, you just notify the dorm counselor or notify someone, and they will like report you to the nurse, and the nurse will be in charge of you.
Here at Tallulah Falls School, we realize that you're entrusting us with your greatest joy. your happiness, and that's your child. This is the safest place your child can be, and we'll continue to make that safe. And continue to look after for your child, and make sure they're have not only environment to learn him, but environmental live in, and to grow in.
