International Student Experience

At Tallulah Falls School, students from around the world representing different cultures merge to create a synergy evident in the classroom, the dorm, and throughout the campus. Students learn from and interact with fellow classmates, building a unique aspect of school culture that inspires a broader worldview for all students. This leads to a deeper understanding of how other people live and attracts students from different parts of the world to unite in one special place.

Global education is incorporated into everyday life, including “International Day,” which gives students from each country represented on campus a moment to shine. Additionally, students experience overnight class trips to Coastal Georgia, Charleston, Florida’s Space Coast, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, which offer international students opportunities to learn more about the United States. These cultural experiences at Tallulah Falls School help students better understand their world and better prepare them for future leadership.

Three words I would use to describe the boarding experience is fun, friendship, and connection.

Community, connection, and friendship.

Kind, welcoming and fun.

The students here are welcoming. They're very supportive. People here are so creative, and it's mind blowing, honestly.

Great people, and it's a beautiful campus.

You have people that are always [here] to help you. You're never left alone and it's just a family. We're just one.

My favorite thing about my dorm mates is that we always know how to have a good time. Like we can always make anything fun.

The classes here, it's different because you don't feel the time. You're enjoying the class, you're learning a lot. You're interacting with all of your classmates and teachers.

The teachers are very helpful. They always support you whenever you need.

Going out, like on our trips was very fun, experiencing different places, different things, just creating friends and having a bigger circle allowed me to just understand different personalities and experience different things.

I didn't expect there to be as many cultures and as many people and we've all got this opportunity to come together and share it with each other.

Like I never expected and be friends from people from the Bahamas, people from Panama, people from Germany and Italy as well.

If I'm talking to Polish people, to Polish students, I would tell them, "You have amazing opportunities. And don't think twice -- Just go!"

I would definitely recommend someone to come to Tallulah because an experience you will remember for the rest of your life!
