Weekend Trips & Activities

Students at Tallulah Falls School enjoy a vibrant student life experience. Both boarding and day students are eligible to participate in weekend trips and activities, including trips to Atlanta for professional sporting events, fine arts performances, museums and specialty meals. Additionally, several of the classes take annual trips to nearby destinations including Chattanooga, Charleston, Coastal Georgia and the Florida Space Coast.

One of the great things about being at a private college prep boarding day school are weekends. Weekends are a blast. Full of activities, a variety of things that we do both on campus and off campus.

Each grade level has a specific trip that they go on. Like ninth grade, they may go to a camp or 11th grade, they may go to Charleston.

I'm a member the cross country team here. And one of the traditions that we have is to go on a camping trip. We stay up late, sitting around the camp fire, talking and all that, and it's just a really great experience to be around the team.

So my favorite weekend name is Mall of Georgia, Whitewater Rafting, Tubing-- [INAUDIBLE] and the favorite place I went to was mini golf.

One the trips that I enjoyed the most was, when we went to Athens [INAUDIBLE]. Because we just went to the lake the whole day, and we spent time with our friends like swimming, like going canoeing-- and it was pretty fun.

I'm from the Bahamas, so I really don't know much about Georgia. So going to these various places, it teaches me more about the geography of Georgia.

Our job is to help them form friendship, form bonds, and be provided a variety of activities, where they really get that warm sense of family. And Tallulah Falls is definitely a family, because of how we live together, we eat together, work, and play together.
